Easy, Free, Saturday Morning Sexual Health Tests!
We have just opened the new Saturday morning clinic to make it easier for people to get regular sexual health check ups. We understand that people may find it difficult to get time off during working hours. So, we predict this after hour’s option is likely to be attractive to busy people.
HIV/STI tests are now available from the WA AIDS Council at 664 Murray Street, West Perth, every Saturday morning. Appointments can be made by calling the AIDS Council on 9482 0000, or guys can simply drop in from 9.00am to 12.30pm. The tests are free with a Medicare card, without Medicare there is a charge. About
Bears Perth aims to provide a comfortable environment for socializing and meeting new men and making friends. You don’t have to be big, hairy or bearded to be welcome! We are not a sex club like Bath houses/Saunas etc.
We meet for Den Nights on the 2nd Saturday and the 4th Friday of the month at Loton Park Tennis Club, corner of Bulwer and Lord St, Highgate (http://bit.ly/JMSDWE). You can join the club at a Den Night or just pay for a casual visit (usually $5 or $10). We also have additional social functions on the 2nd Sunday of the month at a member’s residence or venue as advised. (see About Events page for more information).
The casual and friendly atmosphere of Bears Perth meetings has greatly contributed to it becoming Perth’s leading gay men’s social group. If you wish to receive our free event update reminders and newsletter to keep in touch with what’s going on please contact mailto:info@bearsperth.org or mailto:news-subscribe@lists.bearsperth.org .
